The Doctor Behind the Practice
Barbara SiddiqDVM
“With over 15 years of veterinary experience, and being a horse-woman all of my life, I am dedicated to listening to your horse's needs.”
Story
A Lifelong Bond with Horses
Dr. Barbara “Barbie” Siddiq grew up in Orange County, California with horses as a constant presence. That lifelong connection informed every step of her medical training — and ultimately shaped a practice philosophy that goes far beyond a standard veterinary exam.
After graduating from UC Davis in 2004, Dr. Barbie immediately pursued additional certifications in acupuncture and chiropractic care — disciplines that were still considered unconventional in veterinary medicine. Today, she is one of the few practitioners in the DFW region who holds both a veterinary license and a certified animal chiropractic credential.
In 2013, she relocated to Fort Worth, Texas and established her mobile practice — bringing premium integrative care directly to the barn. No transport stress, no unfamiliar environments, no compromises.
Her philosophy is simple: every horse deserves a doctor who listens. Not just to the owner, but to the horse.
“My primary goal is making you and your horse happy, with results that are sustainable and long-lasting.”

The Principles Behind the Practice
The Whole-Horse Approach
Dr. Barbie doesn't treat symptoms in isolation. She evaluates the entire horse — structure, movement, nervous system, and history — to find the root cause of pain and dysfunction.
Collaborative Care
She works alongside your existing veterinarian, not against them. Integrative medicine complements traditional diagnostics to build the most complete picture of your horse's health.
Sustainable Results
The goal is never a temporary fix. Dr. Barbie designs treatment plans that produce lasting improvements in comfort, performance, and quality of life.
